With customizable features, it is used to create private websites with online courses for educators and trainers to achieve learning goals. Basically, it's an e-learning platform used throughout the world. Educators can use Moodle to create lessons, manage courses,  interact with teachers/ students and students can use Moodle to review the class calendar, submit assignments, take quizzes, interact with their classmates. Teachers and class administrators can create virtual classrooms and so that  students can access videos, documents, tests and course chat. It is user-friendly, available in over 100 languages, accessible anytime - anywhere.

In order to create a Moodle learning environment, the Moodle software must be downloaded and installed on a web server. Individual users, such as teachers and students, can sign up for an account on the Moodle server and access content through either the web interface or the "Moodle Desktop" application.
